38th Annual Ovid Strawberry Festival

The 38th Annual Ovid Strawberry Festival is 2-days of Family and Community Fun, nestled in the picturesque village of Ovid, NY. Friday, June 14th will kick off the festival in the 3 Bears Park with the Ovid Farmer's Market starting at 3pm, followed with music by the Yardvarks at 6pm. Saturday, June 15th the days starts with a Pancake Breakfast at Ovid Federated Church. Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival

Now entering it’s 31st year in 2024, the Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival is anchored by the popular Cardboard Boat Regatta held on Saturday of Father’s Day weekend. Join us at the Seneca Harbor Park on Saturday, June 15th from 11am-7pm! Food, Craft and non-profit vendors will be open from 11am along the Harbor Parking lots and grass. We will also have FREE Children’s Activities in the Cardboard Boat Concourse area, so be sure to check out the boats and the fun! As always, a local favorite band will be playing in the large parking lot tent near Lucky Hare Brewing, following the award announcements. This year get ready to listen to Five Man Trio! Stroll through the Concourse de Cardboard, check out the cardboard boats and meet the crews. Then laugh and applaud the bold and adventurous Captains and Crews of the Cardboard Boat Regatta as they bravely sail their cardboard crafts from launch to finish line! The Carboard Boat Regatta will begin promptly at 2pm. You will not want to miss this. Come enjoy a day out on the town with your favorite four-legged companion! Fox Run is dog friendly every day, but on Sunday, June 23 we’ll make it extra special for our very best friends. Walk your doggo on a special trail through the vineyards, let them chow down on dog-friendly ice cream, and treat yourself to a very punny meal of specialty hot dogs. Dogs & Dogs! What could be better?! We’ll be serving up Bark-Chew-terie Boards for your doggos to enjoy! It’s exactly what it sounds like – a charcuterie board featuring dog-friendly treats! We’ll have the Humane Society of Yates County on site with some adoptable dogs and to accept donations. And we plan on throwing humans a bone by offering free wine tastings in exchange for a donation. We will also be featuring special musical guests! In order to ensure the safety of all our guests we ask that dogs and their owners follow the obedience ground rules: • All dogs must be kept in control and on a leash at all times • Unruly or unfriendly dogs will be asked to leave • According to NYS law dogs are not allowed in the Cafe • PYOP! Grapes, Griddles, & Fiddles

Fox Run’s Grapes, Griddles & Fiddles gives you everything you need to enjoy a warm summer evening: delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, wine by the glass/bottle, and fiddle music! While you sip wine and enjoy the sunshine on our back patio/lawn, Chef Brud Holland will grill up an elevated version of the classic grilled cheese, with the specialty fillings changing at each event. These delectable sandwiches come with a side salad. We have plenty of seating but just in case bring a chair/blanket if you would like! Event is weather dependent. 2024 dates include: June 26th, July 10th & 24th, and August 14th & 28th. You can purchase your admission ticket & grilled cheese online to secure your spot!
